FAQ

What should I wear? Anything that allows easy movement through a full range of lower and upper body movement. Avoid anything with buckles or hard parts that could be irritating.

Will I be sore? As with any bodywork there is a possibility of soreness associated with change. Talk honestly to your practitioner about your goals, preferences and current state of health. There are no right answers, clear communication leads to the best results.

What if I’m not flexible? All the more reason to try thai! Every stretch and movement is tailored to where your body is right now, finding the exact balance to help you move better and feel restored.

I don’t like deep pressure… No problem. The goal is release, not enduring pain. Just let your practitioner know so we can create the exact intensity you need.

FAQ

Underware On or Off? There is no right or wrong here. Massage therapists use sheets and towels to keep you fully covered and adjust their techniques around whatever you choose to wear.

Can I get Deep Tissue table massage? Absolutely. When meeting with your therapist let them know your goals and preferences. They can integrate tecniques and adjust pressure to give you the relief your looking for.

Should I really drink water after bodywork? Manipulating soft tissues squeezes fluid out of the muscles, so a glass or two of water right after your session helps rehydrate the muscle fibers, facia and keep things pliable. Plus, staying hydrated supports circulation and prevents that lightheaded, post-massage grogginess—leaving you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and renewed.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of bodywork that uses specialized suction cups on the skin. Unlike traditional massage that press down into muscles, cupping pulls tissue upward, which expands blood vessels to boost circulation, relieves deep muscle tension, and promote cell repair. It often leaves painless, blush-to-purple marks on the skin that typically fade within a few days to a week. These marks are not bruises, but rather the result of stagnant blood and cellular fluid being drawn to the surface as the underlying muscles relax and recover. This practice is combined with soft tissue massage to increase circulation and treatment efficacy.
